my wish for you this easter
A poem for all mamas in waiting - Easter's Hope
As Easter dawns, the air is sweet,
With blooming flowers and chirping tweets.
But for a soul who yearns for life,
It's a time filled with grief and strife.
She longs for a child, a precious gift,
A dream that in her heart is lit.
But month by month, hope fades away,
Her body's silence, a price to pay.
While others celebrate with joy,
She fights a battle she can't avoid.
Her womb, an empty, longing place,
Her heart aches with tears on her face.
As she hides her pain behind a smile,
Her faith is tested all the while.
Why does the miracle elude her grasp?
Why does her dream seem like a clasp?
She watches kids with Easter eggs,
With joy and laughter on their legs.
She puts on a brave face so bright,
But deep inside, it's a constant fight.
She wonders if she's not enough,
If her body's failing her, too tough.
She questions every step she's taken,
Her hopes and dreams now deeply shaken.
But Easter's story gives her light,
Of resurrection after night.
A tale of hope that never dies,
Of miracles, she realizes.
Just like the stone rolled from the tomb,
New life can spring amid the gloom.
Though struggles come and tears may fall,
Easter's hope can conquer all.
She holds onto faith and love,
Her heart lifted to the heavens above.
With each passing day, she finds the strength,
To face the challenges at length.
She leans on those who offer care,
Their love a balm, so gentle and rare.
She finds solace in the beauty of spring,
New beginnings that hope can bring.
As Easter's promise fills the air,
She's reminded that life is fair.
Her journey may be tough and long,
But her spirit's resilient and strong.
She holds onto hope, steadfast and true,
Believing that her dream will come through.
With faith as her guide, she'll persevere,
Her heart now filled with Easter cheer.
So, as the season of Easter blooms,
She looks ahead with hope that consumes.
Knowing that one day, she'll hold new life,
Her heart healed from the previous strife.
Of Easter's promise, she's now sure,
Her hope and faith, unwavering and pure.
With patience, she waits, her heart aglow,
For the miracle she's destined to know.
