52. Narrating the Donor Egg Story with Natalie Hart, Children's Book Author

In this episode, I had the honour of speaking to Natalie Hart, a children's book author and fellow donor egg mama herself, who wrote the beautiful series for donor egg intended parents, called 'The Journey To You.'

Natalie, openly shares her journey through discovering her perimenopausal status at 41, leading her to pursue donor egg IVF in South Africa. Facing challenges such as a low egg reserve and failed IVF cycles and then finally the successful conception of her child through donor egg IVF.

Her personal journey is what inspired her to create a children's books on donor conception to support others who also just could not find the language or resources to be able to lightly introduce this concept to her child from a young age.

The episode was a heart felt conversation that really emphasizes the power of community support, and the transformative impact of turning personal challenges into creative and supportive resources for others.
