What's the point of affirmations?
It's a trick to help us to reframe negative thoughts.
Sometimes we aren't even aware of the negative self-talk that happens in our heads.
Especially when we're faced with challenging times such as an infertility journey.
The fear of a transfer not working and the heartbreak that follows causes the subconscious brain to move towards negative thoughts to keep us safe...
If we tell ourselves it's not going to work anyway inadvertently we are saving ourselves from disappointment.
However, we know that mind-body connection is powerful.
This is an untapped potential that we are still learning heaps about.
So rather than being tripped up by your subconscious mind trying to keep you safe.
Help your brain lay new neural pathways with what you want to happen. Not what you don't want to happen.
