are you finally pregnant but still feeling anxious?

It makes me so sad to hear so many women say that when they finally get pregnant after a long fertility journey they are not enjoying their pregnancy because they're consumed by fear and anxiety.

Don't get me wrong I was also anxious during my pregnancy and their's an element of 'completely normal' to that after the long journey you've been on to get this pregnancy.

But when you just can't shake off the fear at all and it becomes all-consuming that's when it sucks out any enjoyment that you thought you would have during this special time.

So if you're pregnant with donor egg conception and are feeling anxious and it's consuming you and overtaking the joy you thought you'd be feeling please reach out.

This could be a sign that there's:
😞 unprocessed grief for the loss of your own eggs to look at and be supported with.
😞 fears and anxiety to do with using donor eggs that it would be helpful to work through.
😞 limiting beliefs about your ability to be a 'good enough' parent.
😞 fears and worries about you not being the 'real mum'.
😞 worried about your age and what others might think of you.

If this rings true for you in any way please reach out as I'd love to help you explore your fears and work through them to feel more empowered, at ease, and move forward with joy and confidence into motherhood.
